MGC community grants
Each
year, when our finances allow, MGC awards Community Beautification Grants.
Past recipients include neighborhood garden groups, Eagle Scout
candidates, and bulbs for Mahtomedi kindergarteners.
According to our materials, eligible projects would need to meet the
following criteria:

The project site should be in public access area.

All primary plantings must be done with zone hardy
perennials, trees and/or shrubs.

There must be a plan for ongoing care of the project site.
Applications must be received by
the April 1 deadline.
